This Privacy Policy explains how Cosmic Defence ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the game.

2. Account and Directly Provided Information

Cosmic Defence does not require you to create an account. We do not directly ask you to provide information such as your name, postal address, phone number, or date of birth.

If you contact us for support, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message content, screenshots, or device details relevant to your request.

3. Automatically Processed Information

Certain information may be processed automatically by the App or by third-party services used by the App. This may include:

• device and operating-system information;
• app version and device identifiers;
• IP address;
• advertising identifiers, where permitted;
• advertising interactions and impressions;
• diagnostic and performance information;
• purchase and transaction information; and
• consent and advertising-preference information.

The exact information available to advertising providers may depend on your device settings, region, and consent choices.

4. Gameplay Progress Stored on Your Device

Cosmic Defence stores gameplay progress primarily on your device. This information is not intended to identify you personally.

This may include:

• coins;
• gems;
• high scores;
• highest wave reached;
• permanent upgrades;
• tactical-power unlocks and levels;
• daily reward status; and
• selected gameplay preferences.

Removing the App may cause locally stored gameplay data to be deleted unless a platform feature or future cloud-save system preserves it.

5. Advertising

Cosmic Defence may display advertisements using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads. The App may include interstitial advertisements and optional rewarded advertisements.

Rewarded advertisements are shown only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward.

Depending on your region and consent choices, Google may provide personalized or non-personalized advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

6. Consent and Tracking Permissions

Where required, the App asks for advertising consent before requesting applicable advertising services. On iOS, tracking permission may also be requested where required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

Declining consent or tracking permission does not prevent you from playing Cosmic Defence, although the type of advertising shown may differ.

7. In-App Purchases and Virtual Currency

Cosmic Defence may offer in-app purchases, including gem packs, Remove Ads, and other digital content introduced in future updates.

Payments are processed by the platform from which you downloaded the App, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your full credit-card or payment-card information. We may receive transaction information necessary to confirm purchases and provide purchased content.

The App includes virtual currencies such as Coins and Gems.

• Virtual currencies exist only within the App.
• Virtual currencies have no real-world cash value.
• Virtual currencies cannot normally be exchanged for money.
• Virtual currencies may be earned through gameplay or obtained through in-app purchases where offered.

8. Local Storage

We may use local device storage, including technologies such as AsyncStorage, to save game progression, wallet balances, upgrade levels, tactical-power progression, daily reward information, user preferences, and cached purchase entitlement information.

This data helps restore your game progress when you reopen the App.

9. Third-Party Services and Licensed Assets

Cosmic Defence may use third-party services including:

• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads for advertising and consent;
• Apple App Store / StoreKit for iOS purchases;
• Google Play Billing for Android purchases; and
• Expo / React Native related technologies for app infrastructure.

Third-party providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Some game assets, including audio, may be used under valid third-party licenses from providers such as Pixabay or their contributors. Such licensed assets do not give those creators access to your gameplay or personal information through Cosmic Defence.

10. Children

Cosmic Defence is not specifically directed at children under the minimum age required for independent consent in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children.

11. Retention

Locally stored gameplay information remains on your device until it is overwritten by updated game progress, cleared through an available reset function, removed when application data is deleted, or deleted when the App is uninstalled, subject to platform behavior.

Third-party providers retain information according to their own retention policies.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the App. However, no electronic system or method of storage can guarantee absolute security.

13. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, including within the European Economic Area, you may have rights relating to personal information processed about you, such as access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and withdrawal of consent.

Advertising consent can also be changed through applicable privacy controls in the App or your device settings where available.

14. International Transfers

Some third-party service providers may process information outside your country of residence. Where applicable, those providers are responsible for using appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Cosmic Defence changes, when new services are introduced, or when legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
